Bath is easy to research but harder to know well. This is where we share the places we actually recommend — restaurants we return to, walks we enjoy, things worth booking ahead and ideas for making the most of a few days in the city.
We’ll also keep an eye on what’s new in Bath, seasonal events and useful ideas for families, groups and longer stays.

Two of our favourite Bath walks start at the front door: one disappears into Charlcombe Valley, while the other drops through Georgian Bath all the way to Pulteney Bridge. Plus one lovely city walk through the Holburne and Sydney Gardens.
